\ I'm in a spring mood! I thought it would be fun to post some of my spring pictures. Some are from before and some are new.

My Grandpa's Barn

This is my Grandpa Red's Barn. I took these photos over a two year period as the barn slowly fell. The first picture was taken on Christmas Day, my Grandpa's last Christmas. I remember he was so happy for beautiful snow.

New Manti Temples

\ I thought it was so peaceful and special that the cemetary in Manti is overlooked by the temple. Loved it! Manti is one of the few temples that isn't surrounded by huge homes. Just a quiet little town.

\ I am still working with this, but I am so excited about it. I have wanted to do a Tree of Life picture for a long time and have been constantly looking for the right tree. Finally, last month we were at my inlaws house in Grace, Idaho and the fog was so beautiful that I told my husband that I wanted take a drive down by "The River" on their family property and then my husband saw "the tree." So beautiful and it was right there on the farm all along. I have tried and tried to edit this and work with it and finally decided the more simply done the better.
It has always touched me when I have read the story of Lehi's Dream and the Tree of Life.
"I looked and beheld a tree; and it was like unto the tree which my father had seen; and the beauty thereof was far beyond, yea, exceeding all beauty and the whiteness thereof did exceed the whiteness of the driven snow."

The angel tells Nephi,
"Knowest thou the meaning of the tree which thy father saw?"
And Nephi said,
"Yea, it is the love of God which sheddeth itself abroad in the hearts of men; wherefor, it is the most desirable above all things."
So the tree stands for the Love of God. I don't know how the tree looked to Nephi, but I am trying to bring out the way that the tree appears to me in my mind- which is really hard to do!

This one will be able to be cropped a lot of different shapes.

I really enjoyed photographing this temple. I love the quiet peace on the grounds and the wind blowing the flag. What a gorgeous temple! I love how you can see the sunlight through the top windows.

Ogden Temple 1. Here is another picture from our Utah trip. Any suggestions on what I could call this one? I wanted to call it "Ogden Temple Vintage Wheat," but honestly I don't know what plant that is. Anyone know? I just thought it was pretty! Just to let all of you know out there, when there is a plant or flower in my picture, it's really there. I do take some things out, (people, cars, etc.) but I try my best to make sure that if there are trees, plants, or flowers they were really there in the original photograph. I want it to really represent the actual temple grounds.

This temple, the Ogden Temple is about to go under construction so I really wanted to get some photos of it before it was changed. One is the regular way to order it, the other is with a name sample to show how I can personalize it for you.
